Floral Midi Dress

Floral Midi DressHappy first day of spring! Even though there’s still snow on the ground in Wisconsin, I’m welcoming the season with open arms. Floral print for spring isn’t anything groundbreaking, but I always look forward to new prints each year. In the winter, I pretty much live in neutrals so I’ve been looking forward to having more fun with my outfits.

Old Navy, along with Gap (where I find the cutest outfits for my niece and nephew) and Banana Republic, have really stepped up their game over the past year or so. I still can’t believe how pretty this dress is – it’s even prettier in person – for under $30. It unfortunately looks like the floral print version of the dress has sold out, but I’m linking to it just in case it comes back! The black version would be just as cute with a jean jacket and floral printed handkerchief. I plan to wear it with these sandals once it gets even warmer.

On a random note, this is how I always wear my jean jacket with the ‘J.Crew Roll‘. I remember reading this post a few years ago, and I haven’t looked back. It’s the only way I roll my sleeves.

  • Thank you all so much for the love this weekend. We are definitely still navigating life at home with a newborn but our hearts couldn’t be more full. And watching Bill as a Dad has me like 😍 all day long. We’re so grateful for our guardian angels watching over us as we start this new chapter. Right after the delivery, there was a knock at the door, and while I couldn’t see who was dropping something off, I heard the nurses say “Thank you, Rosie”. How’s that for a sign that my mom was with us the whole time?
  • Ainsley Rose surprised us with an early arrival last night, and we couldn’t be more in love 💗
  • Celebrating three years of marriage today (just short of 10 years together) and under a month until we’re a family a three. I’m having a moment over here ❤️ grateful for you every day, @williamritt. 📷 by @juneandjae
  • While I may have strained my back moving things around the nursery this week, this corner still makes my heart happy. My mom found the dressers we’re using on Craigslist when I was in college, and we gave them a quick facelift with some new paint and knobs. I remember telling her how great they’d look in a nursery one day. And because she and her friends had quite the inside joke about penguins, naturally I needed these adorable prints that we’ll get around to hanging one day (thanks, Auntie Al @allisonhaslee).
  • Going to bed feeling extra grateful after today’s baby shower for our sweet girl. We have the most incredible family and friends who have been more supportive than we ever could have imagined these last few months. Can’t believe we get to meet her in under two months 💗 http://liketk.it/2wWi5 #liketkit @liketoknow.it #tuckernucking #32weeks #ltkbump
