If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen these wide leg pants awhile back on my stories. Since then, I’ve been wearing these every other week at the office. I welcomed time away from skinny jeans and tighter black pants with open arms as soon as I found these. Typically, I’m a petite in LOFT pants, but since these were meant to be a bit cropped, they worked out better than I imagined. 
I will note that by the end of the day, these stretched a bit in the waist, so if you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing down. I paired the pants with a sleeveless sweater that’s a few years old but I found an almost identical version. I actually like the cut on this version even more.
When I was at an agency, I dressed up jeans on a regular basis, but at my new job, I only wear jeans on Fridays. Some of my current work staples include the Sloan pant from Banana Republic, this pleated midi skirt from J.Crew (limited sizes, similar here), an old A-line J.Crew Skirt (here’s an almost identical version) and my drawstring and lace trousers from J.Crew (sadly both are sold out). However, as the warmer weather hopefully begins to stay, I’ll be swapping pants for skirts (I love this one and this one) and easy dresses and will share a few more everyday work wear outfits on the blog.
