Transitioning Florals for Spring

Old Navy Floral Top Old Navy Floral TopTransitioning Florals for Spring Old Navy Floral Blouse Old Navy Floral BlouseOld Navy Floral Blouse I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the gorgeous weather we had here in the Midwest this weekend! We took a quick trip to Madison to visit some friends and pretend like we were in college again. The weather could not have been more perfect for walking around the square. We ate plenty of cheese curds and enjoyed an old fashioned (my favorite) or two.

This outfit is made up of my current favorite pieces in my closet. With the weather going back and forth, I’ve been slowly bringing some fun floral prints into my wardrobe. I loved the print of this floral top plus it has the cutest subtle ruffle. For my petite friends, the XS fits perfectly!

These booties were a recent purchase, and they are even cuter in person. The bow detail on back adds a little something extra, and they’re the perfect neutral color. I can’t wait to wear them with skirts and dresses as the weather continues to warm up. I wore them all day at work on Friday (thank goodness for casual Friday) followed by walking around Madison most of the day on Saturday, and they officially passed the comfortable test.

  • Have wagon will travel ❤️ Ainsley has been loving every minute of our trip to visit her cousins.
  • So incredibly excited to share Ainsley’s nursery on @theeverymom today with a fun Q&A! I share more about my career journey, some of my mom hacks and my favorite pieces in her room. It means so much to be featured on one of my favorite sites. I included the link in my bio. 📷 by @quyenhom
  • I think I took 100 pictures and gave her 100 kisses tonight. I was sad I wasn’t the first one to give her a top knot so I made up for it by documenting it at every angle.
  • I got to daycare pickup today and they had given Ainsley her first top knot 😭 We got home, found her favorite animals and I swapped my heels for some sneakers because we needed to take a lap in the wagon before family night. And yes, this is the Target dress from the day I got trapped in the store because of a torrential downpour outside. I was wearing a white linen top and desperately needed something to cover up my now see-through shirt and was already running late for a meeting. I also had to purchase an umbrella and rain boots. I wore this dress over my jeans and top and am now challenging myself to see how many ways I can style it. Next up? Layering it with a turtleneck. http://liketk.it/2FCSq #liketkit @liketoknow.it #LTKbaby #LTKfamily #LTKworkwear #itsbanana
  • Spending my mom’s birthday at one of our favorite places. Her friend owns the farm, and it’s always been special for our family to come here. This was after Ainsley would only nap in my arms this morning (which never happens) so I like to think it was my mom’s way of sending the sweetest hug today.
