Transitioning Florals for Spring

Old Navy Floral Top Old Navy Floral TopTransitioning Florals for Spring Old Navy Floral Blouse Old Navy Floral BlouseOld Navy Floral Blouse I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the gorgeous weather we had here in the Midwest this weekend! We took a quick trip to Madison to visit some friends and pretend like we were in college again. The weather could not have been more perfect for walking around the square. We ate plenty of cheese curds and enjoyed an old fashioned (my favorite) or two.

This outfit is made up of my current favorite pieces in my closet. With the weather going back and forth, I’ve been slowly bringing some fun floral prints into my wardrobe. I loved the print of this floral top plus it has the cutest subtle ruffle. For my petite friends, the XS fits perfectly!

These booties were a recent purchase, and they are even cuter in person. The bow detail on back adds a little something extra, and they’re the perfect neutral color. I can’t wait to wear them with skirts and dresses as the weather continues to warm up. I wore them all day at work on Friday (thank goodness for casual Friday) followed by walking around Madison most of the day on Saturday, and they officially passed the comfortable test.

  • We’ve been slowly making this house a home for a year and a half now. And while I’ve been investing in new furniture over time (hello, king size bed, couches, coffee tables and a dining room table and chairs and more), sometimes you just need to rely on @homegoods and @target to help freshen up a little corner that’s been filled with random stacks of paper and baby gear for far too long. http://liketk.it/2ArAP @liketoknow.it #liketkit #LTKhome #hearthandhand #targetstyle
  • I realize this may not be the most festive outfit, but I needed to document that I wore something besides my go-to button up top or work clothes. Plus, all of my effort went into Ainsley’s outfit changes for her first St. Partick’s Day ☘️ Slainte, friends! http://liketk.it/2AxUW #liketkit @liketoknow.it
  • Never underestimate the cuteness of a wrist roll.
  • Ainsley’s nursery is finally on the blog! I’m sharing all of the product details and a few stories I can now laugh about like when I cried in Target over shelves for her room 😜. http://liketk.it/2AamO #liketkit @liketoknow.it #LTKkids #LTKfamily #LTKhome #projectnursery #sharetheeverymom
  • I was totally third wheeling it with these two this morning (she has been such a daddy’s girl this week), but we managed to get in some five month photos with our little valentine before 6:30 a.m. Swipe through to see the subtle sign I got from my mom during our photoshoot. She was always so great at making us feel extra special on these holidays but also thoroughly enjoyed flicking us off when we were annoying her 🖕🏼💗
