Transitioning Florals for Spring

Old Navy Floral Top Old Navy Floral TopTransitioning Florals for Spring Old Navy Floral Blouse Old Navy Floral BlouseOld Navy Floral Blouse I hope you all had a chance to enjoy the gorgeous weather we had here in the Midwest this weekend! We took a quick trip to Madison to visit some friends and pretend like we were in college again. The weather could not have been more perfect for walking around the square. We ate plenty of cheese curds and enjoyed an old fashioned (my favorite) or two.

This outfit is made up of my current favorite pieces in my closet. With the weather going back and forth, I’ve been slowly bringing some fun floral prints into my wardrobe. I loved the print of this floral top plus it has the cutest subtle ruffle. For my petite friends, the XS fits perfectly!

These booties were a recent purchase, and they are even cuter in person. The bow detail on back adds a little something extra, and they’re the perfect neutral color. I can’t wait to wear them with skirts and dresses as the weather continues to warm up. I wore them all day at work on Friday (thank goodness for casual Friday) followed by walking around Madison most of the day on Saturday, and they officially passed the comfortable test.

  • This sweet little handprint ornament made me go 😍 every time I passed it on our tree this year. We went to @glazepottery in Thiensville to make it, and I may have already told Bill what I want for Mother’s Day since I definitely teared up when I saw it there (motherhood is emotional haha) - a mug with two handprints with the saying “These hands hold my heart” in the middle. Wink, wink, nod, nod @williamritt just in case you forgot.
  • This video clip from our first dance has been in my Instagram ‘Drafts’ since our anniversary in September (better late than never?). This January marks 10 years together and these last few months have been some of the most incredible yet. Watching you become a dad makes me so grateful that Ainsley and I are both yours ❤️ love you, @williamritt! And we’re forever grateful for @russelled and @kaileydickerson’s incredible surprise.
  • We’re keeping things festive over here for the next week 🎄 This is the tree that my mom would put up in my room as a little girl. It was pretty special to put Ainsley’s first ornaments on it this year.
  • Merry Christmas ❤️ The Ritts
  • I love how you can see the cardinal ornament so well in this photo. A cardinal is one of our signs from our mom (along with Ainsley flicking us off 🖕🏼😂). And little Kevy’s angel ornament is also right at the top. My mom loved ornaments (she got one every time we traveled) and traditional Christmas decorations so this setup along with all of our family photos makes my heart pretty full ❤️
