This might be my new favorite outfit. It has all of the best fall layers: stripes, plaid and the most perfect cableknit sweater (I want it in every color). We continue to have gorgeous fall weather in Wisconsin, and this weekend was no exception. I live for the days that you can wake up with the windows open and have a slow start to the morning, bundled up with a cozy throw blanket with some chai tea.

On those days when a sweater could be just enough, this field jacket is a great additional layer to add as you walk out the door. It’s super lightweight and really comfortable (not to mention it’s under $50). With the ever changing temperatures, layering is pretty important in the Midwest. I added a classic striped tee under my sweater to add some more warmth and an extra print. I loved the subtle pop of stripes. I’ll be savoring these temps until we get into our unbearably long winter.
