There is something so magical about the first snow, especially when it’s as beautiful as the one Wisconsin got yesterday. It was a winter wonderland – the kind where you feel like you’re living in a snow globe and you turn into a 5-year-old on Christmas morning. My mom and I went to visit Creekside Valley Farm once the snow started to stick. It’s their first year selling Christmas trees, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The owners are family friends, and it has been amazing watching them create such a beautiful place for families to visit. We’ve picked pumpkins here with my younger cousins for the past two years, and it’s just the best.

This weekend went by way too quickly, but I have a few fun trips coming up this week. I’m heading to New York tomorrow morning for a quick work trip, and cannot wait to see the city decorated for the holidays. I loved your instagram photo so much I had to come see where you were! I’ve been terrible about visiting places in Wisconsin since moving here from Chicago- but I need to add this place to my list! It’s adorable!
